The local Search Institute project is coordinated by the Alliance for a Healthy Community as a way to assess the overall status of our youth and promote developmental assets.

The Alliance For a Healthy Community is a collaborative group of organizations and individuals with a common goal of promoting a healthy Saline County, Kansas, through assessment, education, and collaboration.

The Alliance includes: Central Kansas Mental Health Center, City of Salina, Juvenile Justice Authority Community Planning Team, K-State Salina, Occupational Center of Central Kansas, Office of Justice and Peace, Salina Area Office of Social and Rehabilitation Services, Salina Area United Way, Salina Regional Health Center, Saline County Commision on Aging, Salina/Saline County Health Department, Saline County Sheriff's Office, USD #305, USD #306, business and industry representatives.

Local funders include: Juvenile Justice Authority Community Planning Team, Salina Area Social Rehabilitation Services, Salina Area United Way, and Salina Regional Health Center.
