Finding Answers to Financial Questions
Consumer Credit Counseling Service, Inc. (CCCS) is an accredited, non-profit community service organization, a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), a HUD certified housing counseling agency, accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Families (COA), registered with the Office of the Kansas State Bank Commissioner, and a United Way of the Plains partner.
CCCS is dedicated to providing one-on-one, confidential, and professional financial counseling and debt management, to aid and rehabilitate financially distressed families and individuals, and to foster community consumer education on family money management, budgeting, and appropriate use of credit. We provide education and counseling regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, social position, or financial status.
Our services aid in the prevention of financial difficulties through education and offer a Debt Management Program (DMP) for the orderly liquidation of debt. We charge a $25 counseling fee. If a DMP is chosen, CCCS charges a one time set up fee of $25 and a monthly maintenance fee of $1 per account ($20 maximum per month).
